The Elverta Specific Plan, as proposed to date, would allow for 4,950 dwelling units to be built on approximately on 1,734 acres.  Plans also include two schools, several parks and a commercial center. 

On August 3, 2004 there was a meeting.  They are waiting for the Revised Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that is being modified to to comply with development guidelines.
